Job Description – Bar Supervisor

Underbelly is currently looking hiring Bar Supervisors to work at the Underbelly during the Edinburgh Fringe. 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Bar Supervisor to join our fun and enthusiastic company. In your role as supervisor you will be working with management to constantly deliver a professional and enjoyable environment for our customers.

Duties will include:

- Day to Day running of the bars within the venue.

- Shift Planning 

- Managing a group of between 20 and 60 members of staff,

- Staff training,

- Following opening and closing procedures for the venue,

- Ensure all staff are happy and enthusiastic about work,

- Cash handling and reporting,

- Ensure all H&S requirements and environmental health requirements are met. 

 

Requirements

- You must be available to work in Edinburgh between the 22ndJuly 2019 to the 29thAugust 2019,

- You must have a valid Scottish Personal Alcohol license.

Please note that this role is full time over the duration of Fringe. On average shift lengths are between 7-8 hours, estimated weekly hours to be 45 per week.  This role is paid at a weekly rate of equiv £23,400 - £26,000 subject to experience.
