7th Aug 2015

Wednesday saw the hugey anticipated annual press launch of Underbelly Edinburgh 2015, where the audience are treated to a host of scintilating extracts from our incredible programme. Here are some of the things that went down!

World-class beatboxing-singing gang Gobsmacked! left the audience, well, Gobsmacked, with their 8-minute mash-up of over 40 songs!

Heidi O'Louglhin gave a sneak peek of her show A Woman Talking, with a monologue from the perspective of everyone's favourite mobile phone game character - Snake!

Fascinating Aida's Dillie Keane told the story of a particularly extravagant one night stand... in Rome.

Circa hula-hooped far more hoops than we could possibly count in an extract from their brand new commission Close-Up.

At the command of the audience, Austentatious performed an improvised five-minute play entitled... 'Big George'.

The guys from Barbu did THIS:

And then THIS:

As the stage was mopped after Barbu's soaking wet performance, Underbelly directors Ed & Charlie came to the stage to annouce our entire 2015 season, and break the exciting news that Udderbelly, our purple cow, is heading to Hong Kong later this year!
