11th Jul 2016
We're so excited about Javier Jarquin aka Card Ninja, who's coming back to the Fringe this year to wow us with more hilarious and unbelievable stunts! Here's what he had to say about Edinburgh this year...
Have you performed at the Fringe before?
Yes, but I don't want to say how many I've done! Ok, ok, I've done.... 6, SIX! What am I like.
Where’s your favourite spot in Edinburgh?
What will you be packing in your suitcase for the Fringe?
Cards cards cards X-men comic cards cards cards & cards.
Do you know who Greyfriars Bobby is?
Yes. Stop blocking the footpath people!!
What’s the best show you’ve ever seen at the Fringe?
Le Clochards. Awesome musical act that do covers dressed as hobos.
What’s the best piece of advice you’d give (or have been given) about the Fringe?
Don't take it personally.
To ceilidh or not to ceilidh?
Absolutely. Remember in Titanic when Leo asks Kate if she wants to "go to a real party?" It's like that.
What can audiences expect from your show?
A sports underdog film about a man desperately wanting to be a ninja. With cards.
See Javier in Card Ninja 25 - 28 August in the Udderbelly at Underbelly George Square. Click here for booking and more info.
