Christian Talbot: My Edinburgh
28th Jul 2016
We spoke to comedian Christian Talbot about his fifth Edinburgh Fringe show, what he'll be packing and the best spots in Edinburgh. See Christian Talbot: C60 at Daisy in Underbelly's Med Quad from 3 - 29 August (not 15).
Have you performed at the Fringe before?
Yes. This will be my 5th time at the Edinburgh Fringe.
Where’s your favourite spot in Edinburgh?
My favourite spot is right in the middle of the Meadows at about 5am when the sun is coming up, there's nobody else about and it's very quiet and tranquil. You can drink the last bit of your pint in peace after you've been kicked out of the Abattoir bar.
What will you be packing in your suitcase for the Fringe?
Kalms, Rennies, Panadol, Pot Noodles, lots of t-shirts and good pair of boots.
Do you know who Greyfriars Bobby is?
Yes. Who's a good boy? He is. Yes he is. He's a very good boy.
What’s the best show you’ve ever seen at the Fringe?
"Every Brilliant Thing" with Jonny Donahoe at Summerhall last year.
What’s the best piece of advice you’d give (or have been given) about the Fringe?
Don't worry about the other shows. Do your own show to the best of your ability and concentrate on it. That's what you're there for.
To ceilidh or not to ceilidh?
Oh Dear God No.
What can audiences expect from your show?
Lot's a funny stuff about music, mixtapes, young love, a stupid dance and a murder.
