It’s the Final Cowntdown!
24th Aug 2018
It's the final weekend of the Fringe and the Bank Holiday weekend - double whammy! Make it the biggest and best weekend of August with these brilliant shows before they finish up.
Why not catch some circus at our Circus Hub in the Meadows before it closes on Saturday? Splash Test Dummies will keep the whole family entertained at lunch time, and Circus Abyssinia: Ethiopian Dreams is another family-friendly spectacle to wow the wee ones and adults alike! Heading into the evening, work up an appetite with Universoul Circus: Hip Hop Under the Big Top or catch Tabarnak and Circolombia in the evening. And if you're up for a late night show, stick around for Circus-Cision at 10pm.
If you have the kids with you, The Gruffalo, the Witch and the Warthog with Julia Donaldson will be in Udderbelly at 11am on Monday 27th August, and Brainiac Live is in McEwan Hall for the kids who love explosions and messy fun!
If comedy is your thing, you need to get along to Mark Nelson: Irreverence - he's only doing 3 shows so you have limited chances to see him! Rhys Nicholson's solo show Seminal is another must-see this weekend (he's been having such a great time he's doing an extra, one-off late-night show before he leaves: book your tickets for his late show here). Another must-see before the Fringe finishes is Steen Raskopoulos's brand new show Stay. With the same elements of character comedy we know and love him for, Steen has taken this new show in a brand new direction, with electrifying results. And if it's that's not enough for you, grab some late night comedy with incredible lineups every night with Edinburgh Comedy Allstars and Spank!
We can't wait to see out another Fringe with moo!
