Liz Miele: My Edinburgh

18th Jul 2016

We caught up with NYC comic Liz Miele, who's about to visit the Fringe for the very first time! Here's how she's feeling about it...

Have you performed at the Fringe before? Nope, first time. Never been to Scotland either.

Where’s your favourite spot in Edinburgh? I've never been so don't know yet.

What will you be packing in your suitcase for the Fringe? I'm kinda lame because I have health problems which I talk about in my hour I pack a lot of vitamins and weird potions I take to stay healthy. Also my running shoes and sports attire cause I plan on starting a comic running group to stay in shape and sane during the festival.

Do you know who Greyfriars Bobby is? Nope, should I?

What’s the best show you’ve ever seen at the Fringe? I haven't seen any yet but my friend also from the US Orlando Baxter is doing a show and I'm looking forward to seeing his as well as so many others.

What’s the best piece of advice you’d give (or have been given) about the Fringe? A friend who did it a few times told me, "Its a lot of work but its also a lot of party...enjoy both."

To ceilidh or not to ceilidh? No idea what that is. Feeling super American right now.

What can audiences expect from your show? Honestly a lot of jokes and stories about me being crazy. I'm a stand-up comic for the New York City. I'm very honest about being a crazy person trying to get by both in my travels around the world but just in life in general. Here's a video of mine from last year that went viral that gives you a good idea of my style:
