Circus Hub will return to The Meadows for the 2016 Fringe, with a brilliant programme of international circus, as well as workshops, cabaret and fun for all the family! As well as our dedicated circus venue, our upside down purple cow will be home to A Simple Space and hot off the heels of it's London debut, Closer by Circa.

The rising stars of British circus harness the power of collective memory in Throwback: a love note to nostalgia and the things you can’t forget. With awe-inspiring aerial and acrobatic work, the UK’s most exciting young troupe team up with acclaimed West End director Paulette Randall to tell stories that are honest, emotional and absorbing.
Welcome to the The Raunch! A whip-cracking, high-flying, all-twerking, rodeo-rocking night out starring legendary aerial cabaret performer Empress Stah alongside the most wanted of the international cabaret and circus scene, and featuring a toe-tapping, disco hoedown soundtrack.
Camille O'Sullivan: The Carny Dream

Trash Test Dummies
Everyone put your bins out! Trash Test Dummies are back in Edinburgh from Australia! This sidesplitting, slapstick comedy circus delivers a dump truck of hilarity! Winners of Best Children’s Presentation at Adelaide Fringe 2016, the Trash Test Dummies are as full of laughs as their bins are full of surprises.
Thrillingly spectacular circus skills blend seamlessly with physical comedy, theatrical storytelling and slapstick in this colourful, loud and funny dramatisation of the domestic adventures of a chaotic family of misfits. Joli Vyann: Imbalance
Combining exciting acrobatic skills and athletic dance, this energetic, thought-provoking performance explores our obsessive dependence with technology, asking whether our lives are in or out of balance. The highly skilled Joli Vyann present Imbalance in collaboration with internationally renowned choreographer Jonathan Lunn.
Elixir is circus like you have never seen before, uninhibited by cliche or expectation, subversive and hilarious at the same time. The story follows three bumbling (albeit handsome) scientists who attempt to create the elixir of life. The mayhem that follows is a beautiful mix of incredible acrobatics and impeccable comic timing.
Family Circus Workshops
Now parents and kids can run away to the circus... together! Enter the exciting big top and have a go at different circus skills. From aerial to juggling, hula-hooping to acrobatics. There’s all the fun of the fair in these great taster sessions designed for parents and their kids. Taught by experts from Edinburgh’s new circus centre Full Cirqle, isn’t it time you joined the circus?
