Week 2 of Underbelly podcast Slaughtered: Live from Underbelly's Abattoir Bar was an absolute treat. Plenty of drinking, Fringe gossip and downright mayhem from host Kate Copstick with guests Sam Simmons, Richard Gadd, Colum Tyrell and John Pendal and two of the Hot Brown Honeys. Listen here.
Awards, Awards, Awards!
We've had some fantastic award wins and nominations this week, including Joan and BLUSH (both part of Underbelly Untapped's new writing season) winning The Stage Edinburgh Awards, Fabric the play winning a Fringe First Award, and nominations for Lucy McCormick, Perhaps Hope and Manual Cinema in the Total Theatre Awards, plus a nomination for Neal Portenza for the Amused Moose Edinburgh Award.
Due to popular demand, we've added extra shows for Ada/Ava by Manual Cinema, Sam Simmons, Zoe Coombs Marr and Geoff Norcott.
Join us next week for our final instalment of news from the Fringe, and don't forget our Circus Hub on the Meadows closes on 22 August, so be sure to catch some shows there before it's too late!
