The Front List - David Olusoga
The broadcaster and historian reflects on British history and his career.
Author, broadcaster, and historian David Olusoga has been pivotal in evolving our understanding of British history over the course of his impressive career. Through titles including Black and British: A Forgotten History, and TV series such as Britain’s Forgotten Slave Owners and the beloved A House Through Time (whose latest series features a property on Edinburgh’s Calton Hill), he’s illuminated the experiences of groups overlooked by conventional histories. Today he reflects on the richness and complexities of our shared past, the challenges he’s faced uncovering hidden elements of our country’s conflicted history, and what’s yet to be achieved.
