IT and Network Manager
You will be carrying out the install of Underbelly's networks along with our consultant tech company. This involves amongst many things running cables, configuring routers and switches. You may have to climb ladders, use tools and be generally happy to run around. You will become familiar with BT installations and be happy to troubleshoot where necessary.
You will be comfortable with both Macs and PC's.
You will be helping set up the bar tills network and be comfortable with wireless networks. These are all run with ipads and bluetooth credit card machines.
Install across our sites is until the 1st of August. During this time, you will be on a rate of £100 per day. Exact number of days to be worked is TBC. During the run, you will be expected to have a daily walk around and check everything is functioning properly, and then be within a 1/2 hour commute of the sites for the rest of the day incase of any emergencies. Run rate is £50 - £100 per day, depending on the full scope of the work.
Dates of employment are Mid July - 1 September 2018. (Although some of this time may be flexitime and not neccessarily everyday).
You will have a logical mind and be able to work through problems and troubleshoot. You will be a good team player but be able to work independently. You will have a passion for technology and innovation. It will suit someone that wants to pursue their own study or projects during the run.
You will be either a student in the relevant field or hold a degree in a relevant subject.
