OH OH

After the stunning success of PSS PSS, the multi-award-winning Compagnia Baccalà returns to the Fringe with OH OH! This new show is firmly placed in the history of clowning, harkening back to such figures as Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and Fellini. OH OH is a wordless performance, a joyful combination of acrobatics, humour, and slapstick. It is a slice in the life of a double act, an absurd pas-de-deux, an encounter between clowning circus and physical theatre at its best. 'A marvel.' (LeFigaro.fr). 'A triumphant return.' (LaRegione.ch).

Dance N'Speak Easy

The world champions of Hip-Hop take us into the depths of a New York speakeasy during the 1920s Prohibition period. Five innocuous mobsters vie for the attention of a voluptuous ‘femme fatale’ to the remixed sounds of Miles Davis, James Brown, Aretha Flanklin and Betty Boop. It’s a world where airy House dance routines flirts with Charleston footsteps, and a delirious jitterbug blends with freestyle hip hop. A festive cocktail of hip hop dances, singing and burlesque, accessible to all audiences.

IIIII – About the Art of Letting Go

Contemporary circus, dance and sound art weave a personal and emotional journey through the beauty and pain of letting go! At the centre: the Cyr wheel. Powerful, stirring, fragile. Hanschitz and Beierer surrender to the process of letting go. The mood changes between calm balance, loss of control and floating lightness. From raw sounds to fine beats, a live soundscape is made from the Cyr wheel itself, in a circle of surrender, holding on and becoming free. ' "A small masterpiece with a massive metal hoop and a shrewd musician." (The Standard)
